JYB Home Care specializes in elder care for people who need assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation. Our caregivers are trained and educated to address the unique interests and needs of each person that they spend time with, whether they are with them for a couple of hours a day or 24 hours a day. We aim to engage our clients with meaningful experiences that will enrich their lives, while giving their family peace of mind that they are well cared for with us.

JYB Home Care has a knack for providing 24-hour elderly care services. There are essentially three kinds of 24 hour care that we provide:

• We can provide emergency care where a family, guardian or facility requests immediate 24-hour care assistance for a variety of reasons including a fall risk situation, an acute care need (two person transfers) or simply companion care.
• 24-hour elder care can also be requested for advocacy purposes. Essentially when a family member lives across country and cannot be present, they would hire a professional caregiver to read vitals, understand what medications are being given, and attend or oversee any personal care and physical needs.
• 24-hour care can also be reserved for individuals that do not necessarily feel safe by themselves in their environment; however, prefer to live comfortably in their home or independent apartment with additional care.

JYB Home Care  provides assistance to many homes and people who have either a mental illness or developmental disability.  We provide these services in different settings like, specialized group homes, supported independent apartments and traditional households. 

Care for chronic conditions, including diabetes, multiple sclerosis and ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease) is something that we, at JYB Home Care, help our clients manage through.

Our caregivers come to us with a variety of experiences but we enhance our services and their skills with our online training so that our caregivers have a better understanding of these diseases. With this understanding comes empathy and the ability to adjust to whatever care a client needs over time.

There is also one on one training that JYB Home Care promotes with each family in order to address the client’s specific wants and needs.  In this way, we become part of your care team rather than replacing family members who may have a lot to contribute. 

A comprehensive program for consumers with disabilities that enables them to build self-esteem, develop life and communication skills, strengthen job skills, enhance interpersonal skills, and practice many of the abilities needed to live and work independently. The program is individualized to every consumer, creating a uniquely personalized experience that helps build on existing skill sets.

The program allows consumers with intellectual disabilities to gain skills and knowledge needed to facilitate independence. Inclusivity can look different for every consumer, but daily living services and social opportunities are a part of their normal daily routine. The decision of which to pursue is up to the student and their family, but many options exist to suit individual needs.

Developing and enhancing social and interpersonal skills is a significant component of the options tailored to consumers with intellectual disabilities, as is creating the opportunity for consumers with and without disabilities to interact in social and community settings.

Dementia care is extremely different than other care provided in the home. This is mainly because depending on what stage or socioeconomic background the client derives from, they will have a slew of different challenges that the family or professional caregiver must address or react to on a daily or weekly basis. Because of this, caregiver specialized training and consistent physician and social work interaction is key to working through the many stages of the disease. In many cases, much of the needed counseling is also for the family who experience emotional storms when they see their loved ones failing as the disease progresses through different stages.
